During the 4th quarter, one of the topics that we learned about was sitemaps. At first, I thought it was just a simple diagram, but as we continued the lesson, I realized that a sitemap is very important in organizing a website. It helps show the structure of the pages and how they are connected to each other. Because of this, it became easier for me to understand how websites are planned before they are actually created.
While working on our activities, I learned how to arrange pages in a clear and logical way. Making a sitemap helped me think carefully about where each page should go and how users would move from one page to another. It also showed me that planning is an important step before designing or building a website.
Through this lesson, I also practiced my creativity and critical thinking. I had to imagine the layout of a website and make sure that the information was organized and easy to follow. Sometimes it was challenging to decide the best structure, but it was also interesting to see how everything fits together once the sitemap was completed.
Overall, learning about sitemaps during the 4th quarter helped me understand more about website development and the importance of proper planning. It gave me new knowledge and skills that I can use in the future when creating digital projects.
