REFLECTION

During the third quarter, I learned the basics of HTML and how different tags are used to create and structure a webpage. I discovered how HTML tags work together to organize content such as headings, paragraphs, images, and links. Through hands-on activities, I realized that coding requires attention to detail because even small mistakes can affect the output. This experience helped me understand that HTML is the foundation of web design and an important skill in today’s digital world.

One of the main challenges I encountered was remembering and familiarizing myself with the different HTML tags and their functions. Some tags looked similar but had different purposes, which sometimes caused confusion. I also struggled when I forgot closing tags or mixed up the correct structure of the code. These challenges made coding difficult at times, especially when my output did not appear as expected.

I addressed these challenges by practicing repeatedly and not giving up easily. I tried writing the codes again and again until I understood how they worked. Memorizing the basic tags and their uses helped me become more confident, and learning from my mistakes allowed me to improve. Through constant practice and trial and error, I gradually became more familiar with HTML coding.

Moving on, I will continue to improve my coding skills by practicing more and exploring other HTML elements. I will challenge myself to create simple webpages and apply what I have learned. I also plan to be more patient with myself when I encounter errors, knowing that mistakes are part of the learning process. With continuous effort, I aim to become more skilled and confident in coding.
